Krea AI Adds New Video Models: Kling 1.6, Hunyuan, and 01-Live

Krea AI just added three major video models to their platform: Kling 1.6, Hunyuan, and 01-Live. The best part? Free users can finally generate videos too.

Here’s what’s new:

Hunyuan is now available for free users. While it typically costs around 40 cents per video elsewhere, Krea has optimized it to run more efficiently.

Kling 1.6 brings improved motion and physics simulation. It’s actually cheaper to run than Hunyuan, but Krea is keeping it as a paid feature for now. The results are fast and fluid, perfect for quick social media content.

01-Live rounds out the new additions with its own specialized video generation capabilities. All three models now include video-to-audio features, letting you add synchronized sound to your generated clips.

But that’s not all happening in AI video right now. Minimax just dropped subject referencing in their latest update. Runway added middle frame controls for better motion consistency. Adobe released an open source model that can generate videos with transparency. And Bytedance’s new STAR model is pushing video upscaling forward.

Krea keeps making AI video more accessible. Between free access to Hunyuan and the addition of audio generation, they’re building something special. I’ll be testing these new models extensively – stay tuned for more detailed results.
